NORMAL PREGNANCY
Is easy to diagnose from menstrual history, clinical signs, and ultrasound if available
DISTENDED URINARY BLADDER
Acute retention of urine is the commonest. It is commonly associated with acute urinary tract infection in young girls and may be associated with other pelvic tumours in older women. Catheterization, urine examination (urinalysis,
microscopy, culture, and sensitivity), and appropriate antibiotic based on culture will suffice in urinary tract infection (UTI).
